DIN2393 steel pipe is widely used in automotive industry, mechanical manufacturing and structural pipe making because of its high-precision size and excellent mechanical properties.
They are used in applications that require high-dimensional accuracy. In some cases, they also need to have thin wall thickness, good surface characteristics, and well-defined mechanical properties.
The delivery conditions include BK (cold-finished hard), BKW (cold-finished soft), BKS (cold-finished and stress-relieved), GBK (annealed), and NBK (normalized). Different delivery conditions have different effects on the mechanical properties and surface characteristics of steel pipes.
